Get your spook on with these deliciously classic beef burgers with a scary twist! Get the kids involved in making these tasty monsters for a perfect Halloween treat. Easy to make and perfect for the whole family. BOO!


Ingredients:

1 Packet MOR 50/50 Gourmet Beef with Red Pepper burgers
4 Emmental cheese slices
2 burger buns of your choice – we prefer seeded
2 tbsp mayonnaise
Iceberg lettuce
1 gherkin – cut lengthways into thin slices
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
Pimento or garlic stuffed olives

Directions:

1.

Heat up the oven

Preheat the oven to 200°c or 180°c fan.

Place the burgers in the oven

Place your 2 MOR burgers on a lightly greased tray and pop them in the oven for 20-25 mins – flipping half way through

Create the monster teeth

While the burgers are cooking, cut your cheese slices into a zig-zag pattern until they look like monster teeth!

Grill the buns

Lightly grill or toast your burger buns to get them nice and crispy.

Add some mayonnaise

Spread your mayonnaise on each side of your burger buns.

Add the lettuce

On the bottom half of each bun, place a small bed of lettuce.

Build your burger

Once the burgers are cooked, place one on each bottom burger bun, on top of the lettuce.

Create the monster's tongue

Lay a gherkin slice on each burger, slightly protruding from the bun to resemble a slimy monster’s tongue!

Add the teeth

Add your ‘teeth’ cheese on top and carefully squeeze some tomato ketchup over the teeth.

Create the eyes

Make 4 Monster eyes by skewering 4 olives and poking them into the top part of the burger bun.

Finishing touches

Position the top burger bun at a slight angle on top of the burger… and voila! Your monster burgers are ready!
