A warming treat perfect for a couple’s date night or a fun family meal. Indulge into delicious burgers with a very slight hint of spice… paired up with classic grilled buttery corn. Bring in the flavours of Mexico with tangy salsa and creamy guacamole in this fun twist on a classic meal.


Ingredients:

1 Packet of MOR Tex Mex Pork Burgers with Sweet Potato
2 burger buns
2 tbsp guacamole
2 beef tomatoes, sliced
Iceberg lettuce, chopped
2 tbsp mayonnaise
Salsa for serving
2 grilled corn cobs

Directions:

Cook the burgers

Preheat oven to 190C/fan 170C/gas mark 5 and add cook the burgers for 18-20 minutes turning halfway through cooking time. Alternatively, preheat the grill to to medium heat and add the sausages for 26-28 minutes turning half way through cooking time.

Toast the burger buns

Once the burgers are cooked toast the burger buns, and begin to assemble the burgers.

Assemble the burgers

Firstly spread a layer of mayonnaise on the bottom bun, then add the sliced tomato and chopped lettuce, followed by the burger, and then to finish it off add a dollop of guacamole and the other half of the bun.

Serve alongside grilled corn and salsa.
